The Info:
In response to Covid-19, we had to quickly change our marketing strategy to be relevant to buyers during this difficult time, and support the small business owners who depended on Etsy for income. I led concepting and copywriting on our cross-channel plans for the campaign.
The Result:
We saw accelerated GMS growth during the height of the pandemic. Within a few days of the launch, #StandWithSmall was used over 17,000 times, and posts promoting the campaign generated 147,854 views.
Manifesto
What would the world look like without small businesses? That’s a scary question, but one we’re forced to consider in a tough time like this. However, we want to ensure it remains just a question—and never becomes our reality.
So we’re here to ask another question: will you join us? Now’s the time to support your favorite Etsy sellers. Discover new ones to love. Spread the word about their work . And send them a message to just say, “thanks”.
